Volunteer Clearance Process

For those who wish to serve as Volunteer coaches in the Interboro School District, or as volunteers in schools state law now requires the following documents to be completed and submitted to the district prior to volunteering:

1.  Volunteer clearance form:   DOWNLOAD THE FORM BY CLICKING HERE.  Fill out the infomation.  After filling out this form please bring it and the required clearances listed below along with a photo ID to the Athletic Department at Interboro High school.

2.  Pennsylvania Criminal History Record (Act 34)

3.  Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)

4.  FBI Federal Criminal History Record (If a Pennsylvania resident less than three years)

In accordance with law, these documents must be updated once every three (3) years in order to continue as a volunteer. Clearances must be less than one year old at the time of submission. Original forms must be brought to the office of the school where you will volunteer and they will be forwarded to the central administrative offices for processing (Parents volunteering in more than one school need only submit clearances to the district at one location). The Commonwealth has recently reduced or waived certain fees for individuals obtaining clearances for the purpose of serving as a volunteer.

The process of obtaining clearances can be initiated online. Please follow the links below for each of the three (3) clearances.

If the individual has been a continuous resident of Pennsylvania for the past 10 years you must obtain the following:
